Bromley Brook School, a Private Boarding School for High School Girls, Celebrates Largest Graduating Class to Date

Manchester, VT (PRWEB) September 18, 2007 -- Moving into its fourth year of successful operation, Bromley Brook School, a Vermont boarding school for girls ages 14-18, graduated its largest class this past August. Ten girls received their diplomas in a ceremony that included faculty, family, and friends.

The young women from this graduating class are a diverse group in terms of college placement, ranging from a gifted writer who will attend Susquehanna University to a future marine biologist who will study dolphin behavior at the University of Delaware. Two talented artists also graduated with this class; one will attend Savannah College of Art and Design and the other will attend Columbia College of Art.

Bromley Brook School expects next year's graduating class to grow to fifteen girls. The class of 2008 is already building its own identity and both the basketball and soccer teams are expected to be worthy competitors.

Bromley Brook School opened in September 2004 with six young women enrolled in the founding class. They begin their fourth year of educating young women this month with over 50 students.

Bromley Brook serves a unique population of girls: although there are many boarding schools for girls available, few schools offer focused attention on girls' unique learning styles. Bromley Brook teachers are particularly adept at working with young women who have not performed at their full potential in the past. Bromley offers a comprehensive, research-based assessment that allows them to create a truly individualized approach to each young woman's educational and personal growth needs.

"Bromley Brook School continues in its quest to help girls who have difficulties in traditional school settings find success in school and beyond," says Laura Mack, Bromley Brook School's Executive Director. "Our girls are very capable, and with the proper support and guidance, our graduates are finding success in college and more traditional private schools."

Bromley Brook accepts teen girls ages 14-17 and offers a college preparatory curriculum as well as therapeutic support. Bromley Brook maintains a rolling admissions policy, which means students can enter the school at any point in the year. School is in session year-round and consists of three four-month sessions.
